Veterinarian

Applebrook Animal Hospital, a single-doctor practice, allows our clients to establish a one-on-one rapport with Dr. Primm that builds trust and provides the highest quality communication and care for our patients.

Dr. Primm wanted to be a veterinarian since the age of five. She grew up in Chattanooga, graduating from Girls Preparatory School and accepting an academic scholarship from Mississippi State University. She graduated from their College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
She enjoys companion animal practice and is happy to have returned home to open Applebrook Animal Hospital in 1998.  She attains or exceeds the suggested 20 hours of continuing education each year to keep abreast of the changing face of veterinary medicine.  Dr. Primm continually seeks to improve her skills through additional conferences, reading, and specialist consultations to provide the best care to her patients.
Our support staff is uniquely dedicated and compassionate.  All of our staff is skilled in animal handling, intensive care, surgical skills, pain management, medical terminology, and zoonotic diseases (diseases contagious between pets and people).  We do our best to provide friendly and knowledgable veterinary staff to address your needs.  If you are a client with us, you probably already know the staff.
